What happens to my submission after I’m declined/accepted?

If you are declined by either Zimbell House Publishing or Temptation Press, you will receive an email stating why we were unable to accept your submission with a brief evaluation of the work.  At that time, we will archive your submission for one month.  At the end of the one month period, we will delete the file from our servers.

If you are one of the lucky few that are accepted, you will receive an email stating you have been accepted and an author agreement will be attached.  We leave the submission active for thirty days.  If we do not hear back from you, the offer will be rescinded and the submission will be coded as withdrawn.  After another month passes, we delete the file from our system.  However, if you decide to move forward with us as your publishing partner, the files are moved to our permanent servers for the duration of the author agreement.
